Salad Dressing Recipes

This is the basic recipe I usually make. Good greens don’t need much to flavor them!

  • 2 t. red wine vinegar
  • 2 t. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 t. tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 T. olive oil

This one is recommended for an Apple Radish salad—sounds interesting!

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • Juice from 1 orange or lemon (or 2 limes)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey, or more to taste
  • Leaves from 1-2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Green Goddess- a little more elaborate

  • 2 cups mayonnaise (you can substitute with avocado+buttermilk)
  • 4 anchovies, minced (or fewer for milder flavor)
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
  • 2 teaspoons chopped chives
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh tarragon

Basil Vinaigrette

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 Tablespoons fresh chopped basil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
